Shannon was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2009 and is a current member of the Canadian Bar Association. Shannon focuses her practice on meeting the needs of business owners by working diligently to provide legal services that are not only essential for new businesses, but also integral to their ongoing business needs including:

Shannon grew up in Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island. As the daughter of a Commercial Fisherman, she spent many of her summers working on the ocean and getting to enjoy much of our beautiful West Coast. She was fortunate to grow up spending winters skiing and snowboarding on picturesque Mount Washington.

After Secondary School, Shannon obtained a Diploma in International Trade and Transportation at BCIT, going on to complete her Bachelor of Business Administration degree there as well. She then attended Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Laws degree in 2008.

Shannon always hoped to eventually settle down in the Comox Valley and was able to do so in 2011. She has since practiced as a general solicitor and has been raising her two young children. Shannon looks forward to continuing to represent and meet the needs of both individual clients and the greater Comox Valley business community.

Wayne chose to restrict his practice to the matters of vital interest to business owners including:

Wayne was born and raised in Edmonton. He attended the University of Alberta and obtained a bachelor degree in history/political science in 1980. In 1983 he graduated from the University of Alberta law school with a bachelor degree in law. In 1983 Wayne moved to Calgary to begin his legal career. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 1984.

For 27 years Wayne ran a successful business law practice in Calgary. In 2012, he was called to the British Columbia Bar and started providing legal services to business owners in the Comox Valley.

Wayne has been educating business owners and entrepreneurs on legal topics relevant to their business for many years. In Alberta he taught classes for the Calgary Board of Education and Mount Royal University. After moving to British Columbia, Wayne led classes in business start-ups for Community Futures in Courtenay.

Wayne is proud to have donated his time to various non-profit organizations, including the Board of Directors of the Sid Williams Theatre Society, the Union Bay Historical Society and numerous other non-profit societies who provide cultural, health, safety and business support to the community.
